Alene Hintergardt Obituary (1932

Guymon, Oklahoma - Alene Hintergardt, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Susan Ronne. She was prepared to join much of her family in heaven where she could "tell Jesus how much I love him". Eva Alene Mitchell was born on June 2, 1932 in Carter County, Glen, Oklahoma to Mary Charlott "Lottie" Stark and Noah Mitchell. She was united in marriage to Herman Hintergardt on January 13, 1951. The Hintergardt family made their home in Guymon most of their years. After Alene raised her six children, she went back to school and received her Registered Nurse License. She worked for Dr. Gayle Gibson, DDS for several years. She also worked for many years at Memorial Hospital of Texas County where her calm, yet firm and authoritative manner efficiently helped many patients, physicians and co-workers. Her deep faith and convictions, with a sense of humor seemed to help many during medical, family and personal situations. Alene was Mom to many and Grandma to many more. She was a longtime active member of Foursquare Church and moved to Liberal, Kansas in 2005 where she lived with her son, Tim and his family. In Liberal, Alene made many new friends and enjoyed her church home at All Nations Church. She is survived by her daughter, Susan and husband Steve Ronne of Guymon; son, Tim Hintergardt and wife, Rhonda of Liberal; a brother, Dave Mitchell and wife, Inga of Kingston, Texas; son-in-law, Ron Moore of Guymon; 13 grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hintergardt, four children, Henry Hintergardt, John Hintergardt, Diane Moore and Paul Hintergardt; three sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends at the Henson-Novak Funeral Home, 501 NW Fifth St, Guymon on Thursday evening, 6-8:00 P.M. Graveside funeral services will be Friday afternoon, March 15th, 2:00 PM at Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, with Rev. Jim Holman, pastor of All Nations Church, Liberal, and Rev. Dallas McGlasson, pastor of Lifeway Church, Guymon, officiating.
