Bert (Tod) Grace Obituary (1931

Bert (Tod) Grace Goodwell, Oklahoma - Bert Mayhew (Tod) Grace, 76, passed away Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 at the Dunaway Manor, Guymon, Oklahoma. The son of Virginia (Mayhew) and Bert E. Grace, he was born September 15, 1931 on the Panhandle A&M College farm, Goodwell, Oklahoma. A lifelong resident of Goodwell, Tod attended school Goodwell and farmed near Goodwell. He planted his first wheat crop at the age of ten. He was united in marriage to Wannetta A. Westcott on October 3, 1974 in Clayton, New Mexico. Tod was a lifelong member of Panhandle Centenary United Methodist Church. Tod was a 32nd Degree Mason, active in the Goodwell, Texhoma and Guymon Chapters. He had recently been honored with 50-Year Pins to the AF&Am, Grand Lodge of Oklahoma; Royal Arch Masons of Oklahoma; Illustrious Council of Oklahoma; and the Grand Commandry of Oklahoma. He was also a longtime member of the Guymon Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Wannetta A. Westcott; nephews and nieces and their families; Kenny Westcott and wife, Kathy and children, Klifford Westcott and wife, Vanessa, and children, Jill, Kyan and Tobin; Kris Westcott and wife, Nicole; Kendil, Kyle, Kayla, Kelly and Karena Westcott, all of Goodwell; Ranetta and husband, Randy Thomas and children, Ray, Rachel, and Robby Thomas, all of Atlanta, Georgia; Dusty Westcott and children, Christina and husband, Frank Caudillo, Tyler and Chance Caudillo of Elk City, OK; Ric Smith and children, Tara and James Smith; Tonja Cargill and daughters, Tasha, Nikki and Casy, all of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Linda Smith of Amarillo; and cousins including, Margarete Slack and Dorthy Jo Coulson, of Boise City; Bob Grace of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends at the Henson-Novak Funeral Home, 5th & James, Guymon, on Saturday evening from 7-9:00 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, August 31st at 2:00 PM at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alex True, pastor of Panhandle Centenary United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Goodwell Cemetery under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Memorials may be given to the Dunaway Manor, c/o Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O.
