Bessie Oliver

Bessie(Susie)Oliver, 59 year old Adams resident, passed away July 23, 2015 in Adams.

Bessie Virginia Pickens was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on July 28, 1955. She attended school in Midwest City. Susie worked in several nursing homes as a nurses aid during her working career.

Susie was united in marriage on October 31, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Owen Oliver who survives her of the home. Survivors also include two Step-daughters; Brenda Schroder of Corpus Christi, Texas and Trecca Howard of Enid; one nephew Chaplain Jeremy Pickens and wife Kelly of Washington state and their three children; mother in law Alice Oliver of Enid and sister in law Barbara Shepherd also of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31 2015 in the pavilion located at Memorial Gardens in Enid, Oklahoma. Address is 6405 Memorial Drive/Highway 81. Inurnment will follow.

Local Cremation arrangements are being handled by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
