Cecil Â€Œwayneâ€ Walker Obituary (1950

Cecil "Wayne" Walker, 74-year-old resident of Boise City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at his home in Boise City. Cecil Wayne Walker, was born on January 4th, 1950 in Clayton, New Mexico to his parents; Louise and Cecil H. Walker. Cecil grew up in Cimarron County and attended the Boise City Schools and graduated with the class of 1968. He worked for many years as a Supervisor with the State Highway Dept. After retirement from the state, he worked as a propane deliveryman and made numerous friends. On January 8th, 1976, Cecil was united in marriage to Zena Nobles at St. Paul's Methodist Church. Wayne and Zena made their forever home in Boise City. But he always wanted to be able to travel and see the many sites of the nation. He always enjoyed spending time with family, and especially with his two grandchildren: Lillee and Zuchriya, He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years: Zena Walker; one son: Aaron; his parents; his brother: Neal and infant sister: Marie Louise. Wayne is survived by one daughter: Kami Lee Walker and husband Amir Haq of Louisville, Kentucky. One sister Noreen Stevenson of Boise City, Oklahoma. One brother: Eddie Walker and wife Cerita of Kenton, Oklahoma. And his two grandchildren: Lillee and Zuchriya. Graveside services will take place 10:00 am Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Boise City Cemetery. Friends and family sign the online guest or leave an online condolence.
