Dennis Blaine Hobson

Dennis Blaine Hobson, 63, longtime Guymon resident passed from this life on Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012 in Albuquerque New Mexico. Dennis was born August 26, 1949 in Guymon, Oklahoma to E.E. and Mildred (Smith) Hobson, who precede him in death.

He attended school in Guymon completing his education with an Associates Degree from Oklahoma State Institute of Technology, Okmulgee, Ok.

Dennis married Elaine Collier in 1985, she precedes him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Eddy Paul, Charles, Jack and David, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his nieces, Melody D. Smith and Penny Hobson of Lamar, Missouri, great niece Megan Smith, her children, nephew David Lee Hobson of Fort Worth, Texas, great nieces and nephews, Tyler, Justice, Molly, D. J. and Maggie; and his sister-in-law Darlene Hobson of Beaverton, Oregon.

He is also survived by his life partner Judy Zordel of the home, and her Mother Lois Watson also of Albuquerque. Although Dennis had no children of his own he leaves to mourn his stepdaughters, Marti, Monica of Albuquerque, Amy, Elk City, Oklahoma and Amber of Blue Springs, Missouri. The loves of his life and pride and joy his grandchildren, Jorge, Justus, Pierce, Tobie, Nick, Taiya, Tristan, Darian, Tatum, Loudan, Bailey, Brea, Erin and Otis.

Dennis will be remembered for the numerous lives he touched through his work with Alcoholics Anonymous in the Guymon area, and had just recently celebrated his 29 birthday with this organization.

Dennis leaves numerous friends and family who are invited to celebrate his life with services being held at Henson-Novak Funeral Services on Sept. 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Interment of cremains will be in Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, Oklahoma.
