Ginger Pieratt Obituary (1935

Virginia Ilene (Ginger) Pieratt, 79, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at The Lakes Care Center, Oklahoma City. The daughter of Daisy Belle (Burkhart) and Clyde W. Scott, she was born September 16, 1935 in Guymon. She was married to Bobby Pieratt on July 12, 1954 in Guymon. Ginger had worked as a landman and a broker for Bob Pieratt real estate for many years. She was a talented interior decorator, enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bridge. She is survived by her children, daughter, Becky James and husband, Steven of Stillwater, OK; son, Scott Pieratt and wife, Kisti of Pueblo, CO; five grandchildren, Kelly James and wife, Mindy of Stillwater, Sarah Stewart and husband, Brad of Edmond, OK; Andrew James and wife, Crystal of Houston, TX; Kassidy Pieratt of Denver, CO; and Kolby Pieratt of Fort Collins, CO; four great grandchildren, Noah and Luke Stewart, and Henley and Eli James. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Shelly Gayle Pieratt, brother, Gene Scott and sister, Erma Booker. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, September 12th, 2:00 PM at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, 523 N Roosevelt, with Rev. Gary Holdeman, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Memorials may be given to Victory Memorial United Methodist Church.
