Glena Fox Obituary (1853

Hardesty, Oklahoma - Glena Fox, 59, passed away Sunday morning, September 9, 2012 at her home. Glena Jean Knight was born July 30, 1953 in Perryton, Texas, to Naomi (Ediger) and Glen S. Knight. Glena graduated from Perryton High School in 1971. She was married to Harry Fox on March 22, 1981 in Perryton. Her energy, sense of fun and humor, and love for others made Glena a wonderful mom, wife and friend. Glena loved yard work, helping with the cattle, antiquing, her dogs and all babies. Her interest and love of people made her a wonderful partner in the Wolf Creek Store in Guymon. Glena was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September of 2011. It was her diagnosis, not her definition. She lived her life with a boldness and bravery. She shared her testimony and dependence of God and kept on living. Glena always made others feel better, whether it was another patient at the Cancer Center or a customer at her store. She is survived by her husband, Harry Fox; her children, Braden Fox and wife Tiffany of Tyrone; Toby Fox of California; and Angie Jackson of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Robert Knight of Florence, Oregon; and sister, Karma Hammons of Perryton; five grandchildren, Garrett Fox, Ashleigh Fox, Adam Fox and wife Christina, Scott Jackson and John Jackson. ` She was preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father, Robert (Bob) Harper. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon, September 12th, 3:00 PM at the Hardesty Community Church with Rev. Jim Fox and Max Whipple officiating. Interment will follow in Range Cemetery under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Friends may come by the funeral home for visitation anytime Monday evening and Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
