Jeffery M. Hough

Waukomis, OK - Jeffery M. Hough, age 60 passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 3, 2025 in Waukomis.

He was born on January 23, 1965 in Parsons, KS to James "Red" and Eleanor (Hill) Hough. Jeff graduated from Hooker High School in Hooker, OK and from Liberal Area Vo-Tech School in Liberal, KS in 1983. After graduation, he entered the workforce, working for Tradewinds Industries in Liberal as a welder. Later, he became a cowboy and farmhand working in the Booker-Perryton, TX area.

On December 28, 1996, he married Tracie Witzke of Liberal. They later divorced.

Jeff is survived by a son, Wyatt Eugene of Liberal; brothers Jarrod of Canyon, TX and Joseph (Sena) of Meade, KS; nieces Trinity (Nick) of Kearney, NE and April of Meade, KS; nephew Kaleb of Meade, KS. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his parents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In accordance with the family wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be at a later date. Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon, OK has been trusted with the graveside services.

The family will be setting up a memorial fund at Meade State Bank in Meade, KS in care of Jeffery Hough at a later date.
