Ofelia Cecilia Perales

Ofelia Perales, 67, passed away Wednesday evening, September 10th 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The daughter of Albina (Macias) and Paul Reynozo, she was born February 7, 1947 in Hereford, Texas. Ofelia raised her family in Guymon, where she was a hairdresser for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Ofelia is survived by two sons, Rico Arndt of Hardesty, OK; and Albert Perales and wife, Charisse, of Las Vegas; daughter-in-law, Connie Perales of Guymon; nine grandchildren, George Peterson of Amarillo, Texas; Albert Paul Perales, Felicia Perales, Josh Perales, Tracy Perales, Zayaunna Moore and Samie Glover, all of Guymon; Megan Perales of Las Vegas, Ashley Lahn of Bartlesville, OK; six great grandchildren, Xavier and A'laiah Perales, Gavin Clark, Conor, Tanner and Amber Glover. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Torres of Guymon; three brothers, Tony Ramirez and Louie Ramirez, both of Guymon; and Oscar (Tite) Ramirez of Edmond, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Perales; brother, Martin Ramirez, and a siter, Rachel Sedillo.

A Rosary will be said on Friday evening, September 19th, 7:00 PM, at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth, Guymon, by Deacon Simon Guerra.

Funeral Mass will Saturday morning, 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1220 N Quinn, with Father Mike Wheelahan, officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
