Robert (Rob) Davis

Robert Nelson Davis, 63, passed away late Saturday, 10/16/2010 at his home in Eagle Nest, New Mexico. The son of Julanne and Robert D. Davis, he was born June 9, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas. Rob attended Guymon schools and graduated from Guymon High School. He attended college and served in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War, receiving an honorable discharge. Bob had worked as a lease operator in the oil industry. He was married to Melanie Sue Ribble on September 1, 2007 in Angel Fire, NM.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie Davis of Eagle Nest; parents, Julanne & Bob Davis of Guymon; daughter, Deneena J. Davis of Norman, OK; brothers, Michael Davis and David Davis, both of Cottage Grove, OR; stepchildren, Katye Paquette of Broken Arrow, OK and Richard Ribble of Bremerton, WA; and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, October 21, 2010, 2:00 PM at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church,523 North Roosevelt, Guymon with Rev. Dr. Michael Burkett, pastor, officiating. Military graveside rites will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.
