Ronnie Green

Ronnie Lee Green, 55, died as a result of a car accident on Monday morning, July 20th, 2009.

The son of Pearl Lucille (Behne) and Earl Green, he was born January 21, 1954 in Guymon. Ronnie attended Guymon schools and graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1972. He married his sweetheart, Laurie Jean Miller on May 24, 1973. Ronnie attended Panhandle State University where he was a member of the rodeo team. He had been employed with Warren Caterpillar as a parts salesman and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie Green; five daughters, Erica and husband, Britch Maddox of Guymon; Jessica and husband, Vaughn Wallace of Bicister, England; Monica Green of Guymon; Mica and husband, Shane Parks of Center, TX; and Clancy Green of Guymon; sister, Debbie and husband, Greg Ninemire of Hardesty, OK; brother, Wayne Green and wife, Lillie, of Guymon; and mother-in-law, JoMarie Miller Hutchinson of Hugoton, KS and many more family and friends. He was Papa to his eight adoring grandchildren, Paxton, Kaitlynn and Payton Maddox; Jordan and Michael Wallace; Rikki Green; Cara and Tobi Sandoval.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pearl Green, and his father-in-law, Eugene R. Miller.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday morning, July 23rd, 10:00 A.M. at the Banner/Weatherford Cemetery, located off Highway 3, 9 miles east of Guymon at mile marker 41 and 1 mile south. Services will be conducted by Rev. Stacy Ross, pastor of Freewill Baptist Church and Bill Newman, family friend and are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.

The Green family will gather at the home of Wayne and Lillie Green located west of Guymon on airport road.
