Ronnie J. Smart

Ronnie J. Smart, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Arlington, Texas.

The son of Leola Maxine (Martin) and John Robert Smart, he was born March 22, 1939 in Hardesty, Oklahoma. He attended Hardesty School and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Smart worked as an accountant for many years. He had recently lived in Colorado before moving to the Dallas Fort Worth area to be closer to family.

Survivors include his daughter, Regina Gaye and husband, David Colella of Coppell, Texas; son, Brent Smart and wife, Mindy of Arlington; two sisters, Shirley and husband, Arvid Smith of Mansfield, Texas; Patsy and husband, Bobby Rhodes of Carney, Texas; four brothers, Randy Smart of Hardesty; Jerry Smart and wife, Bobbie of Guymon, Oklahoma; Bobby Smart and wife, Shirley of Great Bend, Kansas; Charles Smart of Grove, Texas; and two grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth and Jackson Cooper Smart.

Graveside funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, March 27th, at Range Cemetery near Hardesty, with Rev. Jack Cornell, officiating. Services are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
