Roy Ellard

Roy Dean Ellard, 79, lifelong area resident, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2015 in Elk City, Oklahoma.

The son of Annie and Joe Ellard, he was born October 30, 1935 in Texhoma, Oklahoma. He had worked for many years in maintenance and landscaping in Texhoma and Guymon.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joe Dennis Ellard; sister, Francis Bergner; and a son, Brent Ellard. He is survived by two sisters, Laura Ellard of Guymon, OK and Jo Dell Tigrett and husband, Coyt of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, James Ellard and wife, Nena of Rossburn, VA; and Jeff Ellard and wife, Sue of Stuttgart, AR; sister-in-law, Linda Ellard of Rockwall, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday morning, April 30, 10:00 AM at Texhoma Cemetery with Rev. Gary Holdeman officiating. Services are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Texhoma and Guymon, Oklahoma.
