Sandra Hough

Sandrea Kay Hough, born on May 6, 1949, to Alene & Charles Burks in Sayre, OK, stepped into the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2024. This humble and compassionate woman has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all she encountered. Sandrea, a dedicated and loving person, was a true reflection of God's love in the world.

Sandrea's life was a beautiful composition, filled with melodious moments of love, dedication, and service. She was a gifted musician, having earned a degree in music and education from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1971 on a choir scholarship. She utilized her talents to shape young minds, teaching music from 1971-1973 in Liberal, Kansas. Her dedication to her craft and her students was a testament to her humble and loving spirit. Sandrea's life was not defined by her achievements but by the countless lives she touched with her compassionate heart.

Sandrea was blessed with a loving family. She was married to her beloved husband, Larry Hough, for over 50 years, having tied the knot on December 28, 1973. Together they raised their son, Brian Hough, who was a source of immense joy for Sandrea. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Charles and Alene Burks.

Sandrea is survived by her husband of over 50 years: Larry Hough, their son and caretaker: Brian Hough and wife Ashley; her four grandchildren: Madyx, Adyn, Addison, Brayden, and her sister: Darla Hoggatt.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Moore officiating at the Goodwell Baptist Church, 203 College Avenue, Goodwell, Oklahoma, 73939. We invite you to join us in honoring Sandrea's legacy of love, compassion, and music.
